My love of reading began long before ReadBound existed.

As a young girl, newly arrived from Jamaica, I sometimes found it difficult to fit in. I was teased, badly, and during those moments, books became my friends. Between their pages, I discovered new worlds, different lives, and places where I could simply lose myself in a good story.

Reading became my comfort, my escape, and one of my greatest joys. And the wonderful thing about books? No matter how much you read, there's always something new to learn.

That love of reading is what inspired me to create ReadBound in 2025. I wanted to share something with people who understand the excitement of opening a new book, the joy of discovering a wonderful character, and the familiar promise of “just one more chapter.”

Today, ReadBound celebrates everyday readers through comfortable T-shirts, thoughtful designs, and a little bookish humor. Whether you're reading for comfort, adventure, knowledge, or simply to escape reality for a while, there's always room for another chapter, another page, another story.
